History of Success at the United States Air Force Academy
Success from the start.
The lacrosse program at the United States Air Force Academy was established in 1971 and experienced success right away. In it's first season, the Falcons made it to the NCAA Quarterfinals. The first coach of the Falcons was Hall-of-Famer Jim Keating, who amassed a 58-17 (.773) W-L record in his four years at the Academy.

Recent Conference Success
In 2016 The Air Force Academy joined the Southern Conference and immediately established themselves as the top of the class. They won the conference tournament the first two years, advancing to the NCAA Tournament both years.
Since 2022, Air Force has competed in the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference, never finishing the regular season below 3rd. In 2024 & 2025 they won a share of the regular season conference title. In 2025 they won the Conference Tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Championships or Bust
In total, the Air Force Academy has been the NCAA tournament 6x, won their conference tournament 4x, and been regular season conference champions 6x. The goal is to compete for a championship every year.
In 2025, the Air Force Academy competed in the NCAA Tournament, beating Robert Morris in the play-in round before competing with 2-seed Maryland in the opening round. They finished in the top 20 nationally in Division 1 with a top 20 offense in the country.
